In my previous blog post about my bookcase (you can read it here) I mentioned that I would be doing an updated tour if I ever got a new bookcase. Well, today's that day! I got my new bookcase over the summer at Ikea. Here it is: It's a black wooden bookcase. Now, guess how much it costs. Are you ready? It was only 18 dollars. Yes, you read that correctly. 18 dollars. Isn't this such a steal? It's sturdy, good quality as well. Alright, let's start with the top shelf. I have a white tray with a tissue box, and a colorful tray with my snacks inside. Let's move on to the second shelf. I have my Harry Potter series stored here, as well as my Anna and the French Kiss series. Divergent sits in between the two sets. As you can see, these books were bought separately, and not in a box set. That's why I reserved my book stands for these series. Finally, I have some of my super adorable plushies I got from Japan. The duck is actually a character named Sally from the Line Friends company. The octopus is just a random octopus, LOL! The cute heart background is what I did personally to spice things up. Let's move on to the next level. This, and the next level as you will see later, contains all my boxed set books. The Selection series, the The Infernal Devices, as well as The Mortal Instruments are located here. I have a cute blue rabbit plushie here too. Onto the next level! Some more boxed sets are located here. My Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, and Legend series are all here. We're finally at the last level. I keep all my yearbooks here. Some of my childhood favorites, including The Dork Diaries series, Diary of a Wimpy Kids series, and Big Nate series are all new additions to this bookshelf that I didn't have in my old one, because I didn't have space there. This bookcase is much much bigger so I could afford doing this.
I'm so so happy that I got rid of that old shaky bookcase and bought a new one. Hope you enjoyed the tour! Happy Sunday!
