Hey guys! My mom recently came back from her Asia trip. She traveled to Taiwan and Hong Kong, and I personally love shopping in Asia because they have the cutest stuff. Their items always have the really adorable packaging and in general, they have so many stationary and quirky cosmetics stores around the area. So you understand why I just had to ask my mom to pick up some stuff for me! Let's begin the haul. By the way, items purchased in Hong Kong will be in red, and those bought in Taiwan will be green. My main priority was card holders. I really wanted a new card holder because I attach one to my set of keys, so that I can hold my driver's license and a credit card, since I don't usually carry a wallet around with me, but I'll basically always have my keys to drive my car. My old one was torn and beat up, and didn't hold my cards well. My mom ended up getting six. The left-most picture includes the two that are horizontally oriented while the rest are vertical. As you can tell, I really like Kakao Friends. The "bear" is named Ryan in the brand. The reason I put quotation marks around "bear" is because Ryan is actually a lion without a mane. Anyway, Kakao Friends are my current obsession. One card contains Hello Kitty, and Hello Kitty has always been one of my favorite characters. The other two are of a brand called Sumikko Gurashi, something I've never heard of before, but I thought the characters and the design were really cute so my mom picked those up as well. The theme of Sumikko Gurashi centers around food and cute little animals. Next up is stationary! Let's start with the very left: the calendars. I always have a physical calendar on hand for the year, because I like to use colorful pens and highlighters and mark up the pages with all my events and plans. My mom got two: a wall one, and a table one. In the middle, my mom got some Kakao Friends clothespins, and a huge Hello Kitty paperclip. I'm planning on getting string and clipping on all the clothespins, so that I can attach cute pictures and memories on my wall. Speaking of pens, I got a whole lot. I got two brands: Line Friends (middle), and again, Kakao Friends (right). The Line Friends ones are black ink, while the Kakao Friends ones are blue ballpoint pens. My mom also bought a pen that is cupcake and sweets themed and it smells like cinnamon! On the very right of the picture are stickers! All of them are from the brand Sumikko Gurashi. Moving on to possibly my most favorite items from this haul: skin care and cosmetics. And, of course, all of them are from, you guessed it! Kakao Friends! First, the three tubes up in the left hand corner are lip products. Ryan (once again, the lion without a mane) is apple flavored and has no pigment. Apeach (the peach figure one) is peach flavored and is a light shade of pink. Muzi (the rabbit looking creature who is actually a pickled radish disguised in a bunny costume) is cherry flavored and is red. My mom also bought some more Apeach products. In the middle are the hand cream and body soap. These two products came with a really cute cosmetics pouch. In this picture, it's right next to those Apeach products. On the right are some really pungent soaps. They are watermelon, pineapple, and mango. The mango one is by far my most favorite. Time for some random items! On the very left is a beautiful Hello Kitty pink coaster. My mom also got some really adorable Kakao Friends plushies.
That was it for the Asian goodie haul. As you can tell, my haul centered around Kakao Friends. I love the brand so much; their characters are really, really cute. Hope you guys enjoyed the post! Happy Sunday!
