HALLOWEEN ADVERTISING POSTER FOR SCHOOL EVENT
I made this poster/advertisement for school a while back (before I had this website) promoting an imaginary school event.
I really like the color combination with purple, orange, black, and a bit of white. The white of both the spider web and some of the text really stands out in the poster. I made the mountains jagged and completely black to contrast against the roundness and brightness of the moon in the back.
Moving on to the text. I chose a font for "FRIGHT NIGHT" that looked fun and that matched with my theme.
For "msjhs", I chose a font that would alter the letter "j" to make it look like an elongated letter "i". I purposely did that so that I could position "msjhs" and insert the letter "j" right in between the word "FRIGHT", which I thought was pretty clever, if I do say so myself ;). I used the same font for the event information underneath all the other text. I also made sure to use white for "msjhs" and the event information so that again, it would stand out and onlookers would be able to see this important part of the poster more clearly.
* All elements are MADE BY ME via Adobe Photoshop EXCEPT FOR the spider web on the upper left hand corner: http://clipartix.com/spider-web-clipart-3-image-13309/ (I flipped the image and dyed the spider web white)
Print it out! https://hellamel.weebly.com/print-outs.html
